Caffeine
Have you been suffering from what you think might be sleep apnea? You go to bed on time, but then you can’t go to sleep. Or worse, you wake up in the middle of the night simply to stay awake for a couple of hours. When was the last time you thought about your caffeine intake? Caffeine is the world’s most popular drug. Just about everyone has caffeine in their diet. We are not saying that things with caffeine like coffee or soda are terrible. It is simply a substance that you should monitor. The fact that you are lacking sleep may simply be because you are consuming too much caffeine.
Many coffee addicts enjoy 2-3 coffees a day. It can be great for the work environment. Some studies even show that having coffee while working actually increases productivity. The problem is still that you are having trouble sleeping at night. That being said, wouldn’t it be worth a try to lower that number down to 1-2 coffees per day instead? Try it. You might even surprise yourself with a rest filled night. Remember, proper sleep also increases productivity.
Caffeine is great and can be helpful. I will be the first to say, coffee is amazing, but remember 2-3 in a single day is too many!
