Bone Health

As we strengthen our muscles and our minds on a daily basis, it is also important that we strengthen our bones! Your bones are what hold your body together. Keeping them healthy will keep your body healthy.

Maintaining a good amount of calcium in your diet will benefit your bones and keep them strong. Dairy products provide that calcium, so make sure you drink your milk and eat your cheese regularly! Staying active also increases bone health just as it does for your muscles and mind, so get up and work out! As usual, overconsumption of alcohol and excessive smoking are known to increase the risk of osteoporosis. Osteoporosis is a condition that people can develop from bad bone health that causes them to become weak. Age decreases bone strength as well, so it is important to do what you can at a young age to strengthen them!
