Rest

Whether you had a long hard workout yesterday, or today has just been one of those days where you can hardly keep your eyes open, be sure to get a good amount of rest. Your body needs time to recuperate energy that you expend every day doing multiple activities. In order to successfully recover from your day, your body needs at least 7-9 hours of sleep each night. This number is different depending on your age, though. As an adult, the recommendation is 7-9 hours each night, but a young child needs from 9-11 hours. This is obviously due to the amount of energy a child expends throughout each day. School starts early in the morning, so it is essential that your kids go to sleep at a certain bedtime each night so that they have the proper amount of rest on a nightly basis so that they are productive each and every day! Better rest leads to better grades for children in school and more productivity for adults. Whether you are working full time in an office or working full time at home, be sure to get a good amount of rest every night so that you are at your most efficient everyday!
