Cowboys vs. Packers (Week 6) | Game Highlights | NFL
Lazy Sundays
Everybody looks forward to weekends after a long week of work or school. The idea of sitting on the couch, watching television and enjoying leisurely time for two days straight is something that motivates us to push through our weeks of hard work throughout the years. With football season in full swing, many North Texans are anxious to watch the Cowboys continue with their winning streak on Sunday, but sadly enough, the ‘Boys’ will also be enjoying their weekend of no work as they have a bye-week. With noSunday night football for many Cowboys fans this weekend, there are a solid 3 hours that are now open for other activities such as exercise!
Though it is important for your health to find time to relax on the weekends to avoid stress, it is also important to find time to stay fit. Being active not only benefits many systems in your body, but it also helps relieve stress that is built up throughout the week. As much as we want to be lazy on Saturday orSunday and watch football, movies or play videogames, be sure to find time to exert some energy so that your body is not inactive for 2 days straight. Now that 3 hours have opened up on every North Texan’s Sunday schedule, a good workout can easily fill that space! You can even substitute SundayNight Football on the T.V. with your own little family game of touch football outside. Maybe even turn it up a notch and try organizing a cul-de-sac game with the neighbors! Anything to get your family’s blood pumping and muscles working is always beneficial to their wellness.
