Bruce E. Whitehead M.D.
A Family Practice Physician with more than twenty years of experience. He holds a Bachelors and Master's degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Texas at Arlington. A graduate of St. Louis University School of Medicine, with receipt of a Fulbright-Swers Scholarship, he completed a Surgical internship in the Yale program at St. Marys Hospital in Waterbury, Connecticut and a three year residency at Parkland Memorial hospital.
Dr. Whitehead is currently Associate Medical Director of Primacare Medical Center at Lakewood. He is a certified Designated Doctor by the state of Texas and a certified Department of Transportation Examiner. Dr. Whitehead enjoys treating a variety of medical conditions both acute and chronic and has a clear focus on prevention and wellness. Interests include Chess, Scuba diving, and military history.
