Nausea

Nausea is the uneasy feeling our stomach gets which typically leads to vomiting. We can get nauseous for a vast number of reasons. Some of these can include pregnancy, concussions and even emotional stress. These are only a few of the many causes to that nasty feeling you get when you have to vomit. Though vomiting isn’t necessarily harmful, like all things, there is always potential for it to be bad for your health. Vomiting can be a sign of a bigger problem if it is consistent. It can also lead to dehydration if not treated properly as your body is releasing fluids every time you throw up. It is important to continuously drink fluids yourself if you are nauseous to avoid dehydration. If the feeling of being nauseous lasts for more than a few days when not related to pregnancy, come set and appointment to see one of our family doctors!
